Making History with the new 360 Federal Credit Union & Banking Museum

Now open in Clinton, CT is a newly “Ni Design”ed 360 Federal Credit Union! In addition to fulfilling all your banking needs, the location features a museum to preserve the rich past of the banking industry. Peggy Alder, president of the Clinton Historical Society, happened upon the site during construction and was pleasantly surprised and greatly appreciative of how we maintained the history on the inside of the building. We received lots of information on the genealogy of the house , including that it was built in 1720 on the water and relocated to its current location in the late 1700s. It was originally purchased by Martin Griswold and later passed on to his daughter, Maria - who were members of one of thirty families allowed to purchase land back in that era. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Districts, is featured in the book Images of America - Clinton, and will be displaying an oval plaque. Ni Design and the 360 team will continue to develop how to further incorporate rich history and relevance into our designs!
